My political science professor once said, passion comes from suffering, and passion is what makes people great. WIth passion, we can do anything, we can achieve anything, we are everything. When I look back on this whole endeavour, looking at the up coming adventure, looking at myself in my present state, I can see passion. What I once said about us being unpassionate couple, that, relating to the degree of our suffering, is not so. We do suffer. And we suffer in the most extreme of all suffering of mankind. We suffer with longing, not desire, but longing. The longing to merely make a small physical contact, even as slight as a grace of the hand, that longing lodges itself in the souls of the man and the woman, and carves blood out of their heart day by day. That suffering, is a passion, and a great one, it is. Out from this passion, the impossible can come to be. A visit to a land far faraway. A new language attained. A new life exchanged and gained. A past lost, but not forgotten, the nostalgia cut away.
There are more to come yet, this passion. There are more to come yet, this challenge. Yet, we got in the jungle together, so why should we not get out together? Understanding that every moment of yearning, every moment of missing, every moment that we spent suffering, so does our passion grow. And out of this passion, a greater power can be distilled. Through this power, we will move the islands apart, and put you next to me in an eternal grace.
